This writing explains that sociology is a great area which intergraft with many areas of society. Also the writing suggest various field that sociology majors can advance after graduation. People majoring in sociology satisfy about what they learned, but they often feel that opportunity for job is few. These writing suggest way that such gap fill up. Sociology includes many skills (such as communication skills, statistics, etc.) these are very useful in the workplace, so companies tend to welcome sociology majors.
Sociologists may graduate from college and get a job right away, or go to graduate school to study more professionally. You can even go to graduate school working at your desired job. in order to do this, It is good way to choose multiple majors, because sociology is very useful when combined with various studies. Sociology majors are generally highly satisfied with their jobs because they provide useful technologies to work through convergence.
2. What was interesting/what did you learn
i used to think that the employment
statement of sociology was narrow, but after reading this writing, I was
surprised that sociology is very useful for many area than I thought. It was also a
pleasant fact that businesses welcome sociology majors Because of above truth.
I'd like to learn counseling and psychology. SO I'm very happy to be able to
blend counseling and psychology with sociology quite frequently.
3. Discussion Point
At the end of the article, there was a part
of the annual salary, and I doubt whether sociology majors are receiving such
high salaries in our country. Especially, I would like to discuss whether the
above annual salary cases are only applied to foreign countries, not korea. Because
many Koreans say “now days, liberal arts are
fail”
